Where
you attend your school years before college may be just as if not more
important than where you attend college. If you are in a school district where
the graduation rate is less than 50%, chances are you will know a lot of
students who drop out before they even completed high school. If you go to a
school district where graduation is over 95% then it is likely that you have
the support and drive to do good in your studies and continue your education
since it is valued highly by your peers and others.
Vineeth
Maliakkal, before attending the University of Missouri, was a proud student of
Nazareth Academy in LaGrange, Illinois. Nazareth Academy is a private religious
school that promotes not only the importance of good academic grades but strong
values as well. The support that Vinnie Maliakkal got during his years at
Nazareth Academy helped to pave the academic success he would achieve as a
university student. And this was a result of the strong grades and balance that
he learned as a high school student. He was often on the honor roll, and was
even selected to attend a regional science fair.
Vineeth
Maliakkal was proud of his academic abilities. He always put his best effort
into his schoolwork and it paid off with his time spent as an honor roll
student. The value of appreciating education in high school was the foundation
upon which he learned to appreciate his grades and academic work as a
university student. And not only were good grades important but balancing
extracurricular activities as well.
As a
student attending Nazareth Academy and Hinsdale Central, Vinnie Maliakkal was
active in sports. In particular, track and field. His time spent playing sports
and balancing his schoolwork in high school helped Vineeth Maliakkal
balance the work and extracurricular activities he became involved in at
University of Missouri. He even made the honor roll often during his academic
career.
